Why train managers on well-being at work?

"The health of employees is in the hands of managers, it is not possible to externalize it. The Proximity Managers are the first health contacts." (Mission Lachman Larose Pénicaud).

This responsibility is often perceived by managers as an additional constraint in a field that they are not familiar with.
The training needs to help them take hold of their responsibility and that of the company, without making them feel guilty. It is important to help them take care of their teams and of themselves. All the more so as managers are a population at risk for stress and burn-out.

Positive psychology studies optimal human functioning and demonstrates that it is possible for each individual to increase his or her level of well-being. The Be Positive! trainings facilitate the understanding of the mechanisms involved, and allows you to explore the main components.

Emotional Intelligence: A resource to develop

For many managers, blocking points are often emotional aspects when it comes to managing their stress and emotions in difficult situations. Exploring the "Intelligence of the Heart", allows them to see the big picture, and to discover and to learn about a new way of "being".

Taking into account the human dimension to achieve the change

Find solutions, try to convince, rally your interlocutors to your project… These capabilities make up the "genes" of the manager. But change generates irrational fears and trying to convince your stakeholders too early on in the process will reinforce this resistance to change. The process requires gradual adherence from the stakeholders. During periods of change, we therefore invite managers to change their habits in order to establish another approach to time… Be Positive helps them with this.
